  • My psychotherapy practice is based in the centre of Saffron Walden, Essex.
  • I completed my UKCP psychoanalytic psychotherapy training with the Arbours Association in 2003.
  • Having been registered as a psychotherapist with both the UKCP and the BACP, in December 2025 I decided to register instead with the General Psychotherapy Council (GPsyC).
  • Until 2021, I was the senior psychotherapist in an NHS specialist pain service.
  • I have studied contemporary forms of cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT) at Oxford and Bangor universities.
  • My work currently is strongly influenced by Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) in which I have trained to an advanced level.
  • I have a post-graduate qualification in mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT).
  • I have studied and continue to study ancient and contemporary philosophy to a post-graduate level.
  • I have a degree in History from the University of London.
  • I make a strong commitment to working ethically as a therapist and to practising in an environmentally sensitive way.
